I joined the beauty industry later on in my professional career. I pride myself on being a self-motivated, optimistic, creative person. I have a passion for life and a need to connect with others so they feel  inspired, safe, and happy.

I earned my bachelor degree in marketing in 1991, and have had the opportunity to embrace many wonderful life experiences.

In 2013, I attended Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy, where I received 11 months of hands-on training from accomplished and award-winning stylists in the cosmetology field. To date, I faithfully keep up with my craft by attending shows and training classes. With enthusiasm, I stay in tune with the latest hair, fashion, and beauty trends.

Before I became a hair stylist, I worked for Nordstrom in Chicago and in Providence on their management teams in their salon & designer shoe departments from 2011-2013. Before that, I was the proud owner of a ‘Best of Rhode Island’ retail store right here in charming Bristol for 11 fabulous years- StudioSix… Where shopping is always FuN!!

I can not live without building true relationships. This heartfelt need encouraged me to write and self-publish a joyful short story in 2011 about (my) life- Over Nachos… The HaPpY-food that fuels my soul.
